Road Trip: LaGrange, Georgia
It seems to me that for the foreseeable future, folks will be more likely to take short road trips rather than board a plane or a cruise ship for faraway places. Fortunately, there are a number of very interesting towns only a few hours away which I can happily recommend for you to explore, especially if you want to venture in directions other than the Smoky Mountains or the Gulf of Mexico.
One I really enjoyed not long ago was LaGrange, Georgia. Here are 4 posts that I wrote about it covering subjects such as great eateries, the Biblical History Center, culture, entertainment and a beautiful estate home and gardens belonging to the Callaway family (as in Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, GA). Plus, I wrote stories for other publications, and you'll find those links with lots of photos there as well.
