Two of the things we have all missed the most during the pandemic have been TRAVEL and TIME WITH FRIENDS AND EXTENDED FAMILY. Wouldn't you agree?
Well, now that the world appears to be opening up once again, there is a growing trend to rent vacation homes rather than staying in hotels and eating every meal in restaurants.
I received some photos recently from Experience Kissimmee tourism (near Disney World and the other parks). Check out some of these fabulous homes that are available. Imagine your family and one or two other families having a ball together and sharing the cost.
Great features include contactless entry and food delivery. In Kissimmee, for instance, there are 9 grocery stores that will deliver to your house --- leaving you more time for relaxation and fun -- Safeway, Whole Foods, WalMart, Harris Teeter, Trader Joe's, Costco, Target, H-E-B.
I stayed in such a home with a group of other travel writers not too long ago, and we had a personal chef come and prepare a meal for us. It was heavenly.
